Emma Kaufman is an associate practicing in Ropes & Gray’s health care group. Emma advises a variety of clients including health care investors, medical device companies, pharmaceutical companies and other health care organizations on a range of regulatory, compliance and transactional matters.
During law school, Emma interned for Justice Vickie Henry on the Massachusetts Appeals Court, was an articles editor for the Boston University Law Review, represented clients on a range of employment and discrimination issues through Boston University’s Civil Litigation Clinic, and was a legal research and writing fellow. Prior to law school, Emma worked as a health care paralegal at a global law firm. Emma also maintains a pro bono practice, including advising a Massachusetts nonprofit organization on Medicare and Medicaid compliance and reimbursement.
