The Ropes & Gray Business Restructuring team in London has contributed a chapter to GRR's recently published Europe, Middle East and Africa Restructuring Review 2024.
The chapter provides a refresh on current English restructuring and insolvency tools. It focuses in particular on the developments in English restructuring and insolvency law and practice over the course of 2023, providing guidance on the market practice for the use of restructuring mechanisms and considering the evolution of case law from the reforms implemented through the Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2020, including through the increasing use of cross-jurisdictional restructurings.
