Northwind Professional Institute hosted the Intellectual Property Opinions: Bulletproofing Your Opinions seminar in New York City.

Laurence Rogers, Partner, spoke on Inequitable Conduct and Antitrust Opinions of Counsel: Their Role in Patent Litigation. This speech included topics such as: the legal background of both inequitable conduct and antitrust violations; preparing legal opinions for plaintiffs and defendants in the context of patent unenforceability issues; and address timing issues, who should provide the advice, competency issues and possible risks in the context of seeking and obtaining advice of counsel.
