The event drew over 250 general counsels of high-growth technology and venture firms for thought-provoking discussions and networking.
Regina moderated the “Industry Group Discussion: Negotiating AI SaaS Contracts” with Aether Management Group General Counsel Michael McKnight. The discussion examined generative artificial intelligence software-as-a-service (SaaS) contract issues, including mitigating leakage of confidential information and trade secrets in AI systems, internal mechanisms for managing risks posed by click-through AI contracts, and frameworks for IP ownership of AI-generated outputs.
Daniel hosted the roundtable entitled “AI: Trends in Governance and Government Oversight” with Shutterstock General Counsel John Lapham. The discussion addressed topics including how to keep current with new laws and regulations governing AI and best practices for general counsels in providing governance and oversight of AI activities for their companies.
