Ed McNicholas, partner and co-leader of the data, privacy & cybersecurity practice, and mergers & acquisitions partner and co-leader of the technology, media & telecommunications practice, Sarah Young, will moderate roundtables at the TechGC 2024 DeputyGC National Summit in San Francisco on February 22.
Ed will moderate the “Navigating the Ever-Evolving Challenges and Opportunities of AI” panel with Eventbrite Vice President and Deputy General Counsel Lisa Gorman. The discussion will explore AI’s role in legal practice, AI in vendor contracts and in-house counsel’s role in understanding AI challenges that impact corporations including legal matters, intellectual property, data protection and regulatory compliance, among others.
Sarah will host the roundtable entitled “Legal Due Diligence in M&A” with SoftBank Group International Co-Head of Strategic Transactions (Legal) Hugh Manahan. The discussion will address legal due diligence key points in sell-side and buy-side transactions, legal transaction due diligence challenges and industry best practices.
