Ropes & Gray Proudly Sponsors 2024 Kayo Women in M&A and Women in Private Funds Summits

Event
October 7-9, 2024

Ropes & Gray will have a major presence at the Kayo Women in M&A and Women in Private Funds Summits, taking place in Boston from October 7-9.

The Women in M&A Summit will bring together 300 women leaders in mergers & acquisitions, private equity dealmaking and capital markets. The Women in Private Funds Summit unites 150 General Partners and Limited Partners to share insights across alternative asset allocations, capital raising, fund formation, product strategy and institutional investing.

As a sponsor of both conferences, Ropes & Gray attorneys will lead panels and fireside chats throughout the three-day gathering. Attorneys participating in the M&A summit include:

  • Carolyn Vardi, private equity partner, will moderate a “M&A Outlook” panel. The discussion will feature leaders in global mergers and acquisitions discussing current trends and key takeaways for private equity investors.
  • Erica Han, IP transactions partner, will moderate a panel titled “Opportunities & Obstacles for Consumer Facing Companies.” The panel will feature private equity investors who specialize in consumer discussing their outlook for the sector and the best plays in today's market.

Attorneys participating in the Private Funds summit include:

  • Sarah Davidoff, asset management partner, will moderate a fireside chat with Mara Hunt, partner at SkyKnight Capital. The discussion will focus on whether investors can be optimistic about fundraising in 2025, and how private equity firms should be preparing.
  • Isabel Dische, alternative asset opportunities partner, will moderate a “Secondary Outlook” panel. The discussion will focus on where opportunities and innovation in the secondary market lie, and what the future holds for LP-led and GP-led transactions.
