Ropes & Gray’s award-winning Women’s Forum recently expanded its reach by hosting its inaugural event in Singapore on November 5. Co-hosted by life sciences partner and Women’s Forum co-chair Katherine Wang (Singapore) and private equity partner Libby Todd (London), the event brought together women senior leaders from across industries representing private equity, asset management, life sciences, health care, wealth management, consulting, real estate and finance.
Katherine opened the evening by providing an overview of the Women’s Forum’s long history in the firm, its mission and achievements in supporting female lawyers to advance to the top echelons of legal practice.
Guests then enjoyed an educational session delivered by Dr. Sylvia Ramirez, a leading dermatologist in Singapore, followed by cocktails and networking among peers.
Established in 1996, the Ropes & Gray Women’s Forum promotes professional growth among female lawyers. Speakers at Women’s Forum events are firm and industry leaders who address key topics such as networking, marketing, and career and business development opportunities.
