Program Description

The emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the healthcare and life sciences industries and provides opportunities for closer collaborations between life sciences companies and healthcare providers. Healthcare providers are exploring how AI can be used to improve the diagnosis and treatment of patients as well as to increase provider efficiency by generating the first drafts of clinical documentation and patient communications. Life sciences companies are exploring diverse uses of AI, including aiding in drug discovery, accelerating clinical trial recruitment and streamlining clinical trial operations. Each of these use cases raises various ethical and legal issues.

We have assembled a panel of diverse stakeholders from healthcare providers, life sciences companies and technology companies to discuss the potential they see for uses of AI and the challenges ahead.
