Health care counsel Minal Caron will present at the 114th Annual Meeting of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP) in Boston on March 24.
Minal will participate on the panel titled “Publish, Don’t Perish: A Guide to Publication Ethics,” at the largest North American organization of pathologists. On the panel Minal will be joined by leading pathologists, medical researchers and biomedical journal editors.
Minal will speak about the overlap between publication ethics issues and research misconduct proceedings, including the obligations of institutions and funding agencies to investigate research integrity issues, and will discuss strategies that researchers can use to reduce the risk of data integrity issues occurring in their published work.
