Business & securities litigation partner Nick Berg (Chicago) co-authored an article, published by Law360 on Oct. 2, covering the cybersecurity guidance proposed by the National Futures Association (NFA) on August 28, 2015. The guidance aims to address the risks that hackers pose to the global financial system, and, if adopted by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), will impose penalties on NFA registrants that fail to meet the cybersecurity criteria outlined in the guidance.
