Ropes & Gray Team Advises Eversource in Offshore Wind Joint Venture

Ropes & Gray advised Eversource Energy, the premier transmission builder and utility distribution provider in New England, in establishing a long-term joint venture with DONG Energy, the global leader in offshore wind power, to develop deepwater offshore wind farms off the coast of the New England states. The initial project, expected to be sited approximately 25 miles off of the coast of Martha’s Vineyard, has the potential to generate enough energy to power one million Massachusetts homes with clean energy.
