Health care partner Mark Barnes (Boston) was appointed to the National Institute of Health’s National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute’s Clinical Data Science Institutional Review Board. The NHLBI IRB will serve as an information source for the biomedical research community to review and monitor the risks and benefits to clinical trial study participants.
Mr. Barnes, who advises clients throughout higher education and the health care industry, has extensive experience in legal issues related to research with humans and animals, stem cell and genetic research, research grants and contracts, research misconduct, international research and data privacy.
