Cross-office teams of attorneys in Ropes & Gray’s litigation & enforcement and data practices have co-authored one chapter in Global Investigations Review’s “The Guide to Monitorships” and two chapters in “The Guide to Cyber Investigations.” These guides are companions to the third edition of Global Investigations Review’s “The Practitioner’s Guide to Global Investigations,” a comprehensive guide which examines how companies should approach each stage of a corporate investigation.
“The Guide to Monitorships” is an in-depth guide to every aspect of the institution known as ‘monitorship,’ an arrangement that can be challenging for the company, monitor and appointing government agency.
“The Guide to Cyber Investigations” discusses how to prepare and deal with data breaches and other cyber incidents. Privacy and cybersecurity co-chair Mark Szpak and partner Richard Batchelder contributed the chapter “US Litigation Considerations and Landscape” and litigation & enforcement associate Edward Machin contributed the chapter “Cyber Trends and Investigations in the European Union: A Practitioner’s Perspective.”
