Ropes & Gray Provides Pro Bono Advice to Caribbean Biodiversity Fund - Helping it Provide $12 Million Funding to Tackle Climate Change

Ropes & Gray has advised – on a pro bono basis – the Caribbean Biodiversity Fund on the establishment and implementation of an Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) Facility. Funding from this facility will be provided to and used by 11 organisations who have recently made successful funding applications under the facility’s 1^st Call for Proposals. Grants to these organisations will total US$12 million and be used to provide EbA solutions within the marine and coastal zones of 10 Caribbean countries.

The Ropes & Gray team was led by counsel Will Bryant, alongside associates Harriet Banner, David Dowling and Nathan Sekhar, all based in the firm’s London office.
