María González Calvet Honored by GIR’s Women in Investigations 2021

Anti-corruption and international risk co-chair María González Calvet has been selected by Global Investigations Review in Women in Investigations, a special which shines a spotlight on 100 outstanding female practitioners chosen through a global nominations process for exceptional contributions to white-collar work. In her Women in Investigations profile, María discusses the many memorable moments of her career thus far. She says, “whether serving as the first Latina in the Department of Justice’s Fraud Section, training foreign prosecutors, disclosing to regulators in a jurisdiction for the first time, or launching an investigation in a previously untapped region of the world, I have always relished the chance to expand anti-corruption work.”
