Meet Ropes & Gray’s newest counsel:
Christopher Bonny – Chris is a litigator who focuses on high-stakes patent litigation in U.S. district court and proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. With a background in mechanical engineering, Chris primarily represents technology companies across a range of products, from smartphones and semiconductors to software and consumer products.
Jaime Feeney – A litigation & enforcement attorney, Jaime represents clients in criminal and civil matters with a focus on the pharmaceutical, medical device and health care industries. Jaime advises clients facing government investigations centered on health care fraud, improper marketing practices, and anti-corruption and anti-money laundering laws.
Michael Mendelevich – A versatile tax lawyer, Michael advises on a mix of private and public transactions, including U.S. and cross-border M&A, carve-outs, restructurings and de-SPACs. Michael also has experience structuring private equity funds and advising sponsors and institutional investors on tax considerations relating to investments.
Marc Migliazzo – With experience in both private equity transactions and private funds structures, Marc advises large private equity firms on co-investment transactions. He works with general partners, limited partners, endowments and new institutional entrants to the market. Marc also focuses on venture financing and impact investing.
Daniel Richards – Daniel handles patent litigation for clients across industries, including semiconductor, consumer electronics, software and technology. He has deep experience in all stages of U.S. district court and ITC litigation, as well as proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Jimena Acuña Smith – Part of the firm’s asset management group, Jimena works with mutual funds, investment advisers and independent directors. Jimena provides transactional, regulatory and compliance advice on fund launches, mergers, liquidations and board-related matters. In particular, she focuses on Liquidity Rule matters, derivatives-related questions and closed-end funds.
Thomas Wechsler – A member of the real estate investments & transactions team, Tom assists clients with joint ventures and co-investments, complex acquisitions and real estate financing. He leads sale-leaseback transactions for medical facilities, logistics and industrial assets, and he has experience with hybrid real estate and M&A transactions.
Tina Yu – part of the firm’s litigation & enforcement group, Tina focuses on anti-corruption and international risk. She handles transactional due diligence, risk assessments, and cross-border investigations across jurisdictions, including Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
