Ropes & Gray represented Global Healthcare Opportunities, or GHO Capital Partners LLP, in its investment in Biocare Medical. Existing investor Excellere Partners, a US-based private equity firm, will remain a significant partner in Biocare Medical alongside GHO. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed. The transaction was announced on Dec. 9 in a press release.
GHO Capital is a leading specialist healthcare investment advisor based in London. Biocare Medical is a leading developer of world-class immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization reagents for cancer diagnosis and chromosomal profiling.
