Ropes & Gray advised enviolo Inc., an e-bicycle components maker, in its sale to Inflexion Private Equity. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory clearances and is expected to close by March 31. The deal was announced on Feb. 9 in a press release.
Enviolo, headquartered in the Netherlands with additional operations in Austin, Texas, designs and develops transmission systems for high-quality e-bikes mainly for the European and North American markets. Founded in 1999, Inflexion Private Equity is a private equity firm based in London.
