Audax Private Equity Acquires Monarch Landscape Companies with Counsel from Ropes & Gray

Audax Private Equity acquired Monarch Landscape Companies with counsel from Ropes & Gray LLP. Audax acquired Monarch Landscape from One Rock Capital Partners. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The transaction was announced on March 31 in a press release.

Monarch Landscape is a Los Angeles-based commercial landscape management firm. Audax Group is a leading alternative investment manager with offices in Boston, New York, and San Francisco. Since its founding in 1999, the firm has raised over $30 billion in capital.

The Ropes & Gray team was led by private equity partner Chau Le and associate Reed Harasimowicz, and included leverage finance partner Gregory Bauer, benefits partner Jennifer Rikoski, litigation & enforcement partner Thomas Brown, benefits counsel Stephanie Bruce, mergers & acquisitions counsel Thomas Burke, real estate counsel Annise Maguire and litigation & enforcement counsel Steven Kaye and Patrick Welsh.
