Ropes & Gray advised VSS Capital Partners on the closing of its VSS Structured Capital Fund IV at $530 million, well above its initial goal of $400 million. The fund received strong support from existing as well as new institutional investors, including insurers, pensions, asset managers, foundations, endowments and select family offices. The closure was announced Dec. 14 in a press release.
VSS Capital Partners is a private investment firm that targets the healthcare, education, and business services industries, and manages $4 billion in aggregate committed capital across eight funds.
