Ropes & Gray has advised global alternative asset management company Brookfield through its real estate solutions joint venture with Copley Point Capital, a specialist manager and operator of U.K. industrial real estate, on the joint venture aspects of its acquisition of three warehouses at Heathrow airport.
The properties form part of the estate known as Polar Park, totalling some 220,000 sq. ft., and serve as air cargo logistics hubs for DHL, Circle Express and Air Menzies. The portfolio was sold by investment manager Hermes.
The Ropes & Gray team was led by PERE partner Will Bryant with associates Joey Patchitt and Abbey Shaw. Other members of the team included tax partner Chris Agnoli.
