Managing principal and global head of advanced e-discovery and A.I. strategy Shannon Capone Kirk spoke with Bloomberg Radio about the implications of AI in the legal industry and the firm’s new AI court order tracker.
“AI presents an increase in need to verify accuracy on case citations and generated summaries,” said Shannon. “Understanding the fundamentals of litigation strategies and judgement calls is paramount for training and growing the next generation of attorneys.”
“We are seeing an increase in the number of courts issuing standing orders, and the orders are getting more precise, with specificity about the tools the courts are concerned with,” Shannon added. “The tracker is a diagnostic and practical device for attorneys who need to know the protocol for the use of AI and GenAI in the courts” she added.
