Ropes & Gray represented Atria Wealth Solutions, Inc., a wealth management solutions holding company and portfolio company of Lee Equity Partners, in a definitive purchase agreement to be sold to LPL Financial Holdings Inc. The transaction was announced in a Feb. 13 press release and is expected to close in the second half of 2024.
Atria supports approximately 2,400 advisors and 150 banks and credit unions, managing approximately $100 billion of brokerage and advisory assets. Established in 2017 and headquartered in New York, Atria operates a network of broker-dealer subsidiaries focused on supporting independent financial advisors and institutions nationwide.
The Ropes & Gray team was led by private equity partner Scott Abramowitz and included asset management partners Brynn Rail and Jessica Reece, tax partner Adam Greenwood, IP transactions partner Jordan Altman, finance partner Andrea Hwang and executive compensation & employee benefits partner Danna Kivell.
