Ropes & Gray advised Gauge Capital, a leading middle market private equity firm, on the close of its oversubscribed fourth fund, Gauge Capital IV, with approximately $1.4 billion in commitments. The fund close was announced on March 11 in a press release.
The Gauge Capital team is the largest investor in the fund and represents over 25% of the committed capital.
The Ropes & Gray team was led by asset management partner Debra Lussier and included tax partner Scott Pinarchick, employment, executive compensation and employee benefits partner Sharon Remmer, and finance partner Patricia Teixeira.
