Ropes & Gray advised EQT Private Equity Asia in its agreement to acquire WSO2, a leading provider of digital technologies including application development and identity and access management enterprise software. The transaction was announced on May 3 and is expected to close in the second half of 2024. Financial terms were not disclosed.
With this transaction, BPEA Private Equity Fund VIII is expected to be 45-50 percent invested (including closed and/or signed investments, announced public offers, if applicable, and less any expected syndication).
