Ropes & Gray represented Advent International in its strategic investment in Prometheus Group, a global provider of comprehensive and intuitive enterprise asset management software solutions and current portfolio company of Genstar Capital. Leonard Green & Partners will also make an investment. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The transaction was announced in a June 5 press release.
Founded in 1984, Advent International is one of the largest and most experienced global private equity investors. The firm has invested in 420 private equity investments across 43 countries, and as of December 31, 2023, had $94 billion in assets under management.
The team included private equity partners Eric Issadore, Chau Le and Annie Sipe, finance partners Andrea Hwang and Byung Choi, tax partner Eric Behl-Remijan, executive compensation & employee benefits partner Jennifer Rikoski Whitney, data, privacy & cybersecurity partner Ed McNicholas, and litigation & enforcement partners Ruchit Patel and Jim Dowden.
