Ropes & Gray represented Altamont Capital Partners in its sale of Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, an owner and operator of a chain of dine-in movie theaters, to a subsidiary of Sony Pictures Entertainment. The sale was announced in a June 12 press release.
Altamont Capital Partners is a San Francisco Bay Area-based private investment firm focused on middle-market businesses. The firm has over $4 billion in assets under management.
The team included private equity partners Elizabeth Gallucci and Howard Glazer, finance partner Greg Bauer, tax partners Ben Rogers and Amanda Holt, employment partners Stephanie Bruce and Jen Cormier, litigation & enforcement partner Mike McFalls, and real estate partner Peter Alpert.
