Bain Capital to Acquire PowerSchool in $5.6 Billion Transaction

Ropes & Gray advised Bain Capital in a transaction to acquire PowerSchool Holdings, Inc, a leading provider of cloud-based software for K-12 education. The transaction values the PowerSchool at $5.6 billion and was announced in a June 7 press release.

Bain Capital, LP is a leading private multi-asset alternative investment firm with offices on four continents, more than 1,750 employees and approximately $185 billion in assets under management.
