Ropes & Gray represented H.I.G. Infrastructure, an affiliate of H.I.G. Capital, in the acquisition of Best Trash. The transaction was announced on July 11.

Headquartered in Richmond, Texas, Best Trash is a market leading municipal solid waste platform serving the residential waste collection needs of select markets in Texas including the Greater Houston Area. Best Trash services utility districts, municipalities, homeowner associations and individual residences.

H.I.G. Capital is a global alternative investment firm with $64 billion of capital under management that specializes in providing both debt and equity to middle market companies. H.I.G. Infrastructure focuses on making value-add and core plus investments in the infrastructure sector.
