Ropes & Gray advised leading private equity firm TA Associates in its acquisition of the Association & Events and Nonprofit Solutions divisions from Community Brands. The acquisition will create a new strategic platform, Momentive Software, a provider of cloud-based software that powers mission-driven associations and nonprofit organizations. The announcement was made in a July 9 press release. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.
