Ropes & Gray represented G1 Therapeutics, Inc., a commercial-stage oncology company in a definitive merger agreement under which Pharmacosmos A/S, through its U.S. subsidiary Pharmacosmos Therapeutics Inc., will acquire G1 Therapeutics for a total equity value of approximately $405 million. The transaction was announced in an Aug. 7 press release.
G1 Therapeutics is based in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina and focuses on delivering next-generation therapies that improve the lives of those affected by cancer.
