Ropes & Gray advised Audax Private Equity in the sale of United Urology Group (UUG) to OneOncology. The transaction was announced on August 20 and is expected to close by the end of 2024.
OneOncology is the fastest growing national platform for independent oncology practices. UUG is one of the nations leading urology management services organizations, supporting approximately 250 physicians and advanced practice providers with more than 1,300 employees. The combined entities will focus on advancing urology care, including the increasingly complex treatment of prostate, bladder, and other genitourinary cancers.
Audax Private Equity is a capital partner for middle market companies that seeks to facilitate transformational growth through its private equity and strategic capital strategies. With approximately $19 billion of assets under management, over 270 employees, and 100-plus investment professionals, the firm has invested in more than 170 platforms and 1,300 add-on acquisitions.
