Ropes & Gray represented YA Group and CIVC Partners in connection with a majority investment in YA by THL Partners. CIVC Partners, YA’s current capital partner, will retain a significant ownership position in YA following closing of the transaction. The transaction was announced in an Aug. 22 press release.
YA Group is an international professional services organization providing forensic consulting, engineering, risk mitigation and related services to the insurance industry and other public and private sector clients. CIVC Partners is a Chicago-based private equity firm that invests in high-growth middle market companies in the business services sector.
