Ropes & Gray represented VMG Partners and [solidcore], a national network of fitness studios providing targeted strength training on custom-built reformers, in its sale to investment firm, L Catterton. The announcement was made in a Sept. 25 press release. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 2005, VMG Partners invests in, and provides strategic guidance to, founder-led, entrepreneurial teams across the food and beverage, beauty, pet, wellness, and fitness categories.
This team was led by associate Lucy Corrigan and also included tax partner Pam Glazier, executive compensation & employee benefits partner Kyle Higley, mergers & acquisitions partner Chris Comeau, and litigation & enforcement partner Dan McCaughey and finance partner Daniel Coyne.
