Client KinderCare Learning Companies Closes $576 Million IPO

Ropes & Gray advised Partners Group Holding AG and KinderCare Learning Companies in KinderCare’s $576 million initial public offering. The company offered 24,000,000 shares of common stock at $24 per share and began trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “KLC.” The transaction closed on Oct. 10.

Partners Group is one of the largest firms in the global private markets industry with around 1,800 professionals and approximately $150 billion in assets under management. 

KinderCare is a leading provider of early childhood and school-age education and care with a presence in 40 states and the District of Columbia.

The deal team included capital markets partners Faiza Rahman and Craig Marcus, capital markets counsel Tristan VanDeventer, executive compensation & employee benefits partners Kyle Higley and Allie Alperovich, private equity partners Bob Rivollier, Doug Giannantonio and David Blittner, and tax partner Adam Greenwood.
