Health care partner Mark Barnes (Boston) will receive the “Inspiring Yale Award” for the Yale Law School. The award will be presented to Mark at a ceremony on April 11 at the Yale School of Management.
Inspiring Yale is a one-day event that showcases the appreciation and work of various thought leaders from the 13 graduate and professional schools at Yale. Students from each school nominate and vote on faculty doing the most interesting and engaging work to represent their school and share their work.
He will share the stage with Dr. Francis Collins, Director of the National Institutes of Health, who will be presented with the inaugural award.
Mr. Barnes currently holds a faculty position at Yale Law School, where he teaches health care law and finance and public health law, and at the Yale School of Medicine, where he teaches the history of the regulation of the medical profession, medical malpractice, and medical privacy.
