Ropes & Gray has been named to Public Interest Law Initiative’s (PILI) 2018 Pro Bono Recognition Roster along with 44 law firms and corporations for providing legal services pro bono in Illinois. Firmwide, in 2017, Ropes & Gray provided more than 160,000 hours of legal services pro bono. In the Chicago office of Ropes & Gray, the firm’s pro bono work is led by Laura Hoey, who co-leads both the government enforcement and white collar practice group and the health care and life sciences industry group. PILI announced the 2018 Pro Bono Recognition Roster during its annual pro bono reception held in June.
