In its annual “A-List” ranking, which recognizes the “best of the best” law firms, The American Lawyer named Ropes & Gray number two for women lawyers among “A-List” firms. It marks the second consecutive year that AmLaw has scored law firms on their commitment to gender equity as part of the “A-List” ranking. In the publication’s inaugural 2018 ranking, Ropes & Gray received top marks for its commitment to women attorneys.
The recognition follows other accolades that underscore Ropes & Gray’s commitment to women. Recently The National Law Journal’s “NLJ500 Women’s Scorecard” recognized Ropes & Gray as among the best firms for female attorneys. Law360 also ranked the firm as a top-ten firm for women and a top-three firm for female partners. In its annual diversity awards, Chambers & Partners shortlisted the firm for three gender diversity honors including “Most Pioneering Firm for Female Lawyers.”
“The ‘A-List’ rewards firms with women represented at the very highest levels of leadership,” said Lisa Bebchick partner and co-chair of the firm’s Women’s Forum. “I’m proud of the programs Ropes & Gray has created that have supported – and continue to support – women attorneys who are committed to the pursuit of excellence.”
