Ropes & Gray has won the Deal of The Year Private Equity category at IFLR’s 2023 Americas Awards for representing McAfee in its sale to a private equity investor group for $14 billion in 2022. McAfee, a global leader in online protection, was acquired by an investor group that included Advent International, Permira Advisers, Crosspoint Capital Partners, the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, GIC Private Limited and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority.
