Ropes & Gray Named a Top Foreign Law Firm for India-Related Matters

Ropes & Gray has been identified by India Business Law Journal (IBLJ) as one of the world's top foreign law firms for India-related matters in 2024.

IBLJ’s 18th annual survey determines the foremost foreign law firms for India work. The findings are based on extensive consultations with India-focused corporate counsel worldwide and partners at Indian law firms. These were further reinforced by submissions received from a significant number of international law firms, as well as interviews and research conducted by IBLJ’s editorial team.

The 2024 report highlights that Ropes & Gray’s prominent anti-corruption and international risk practice, has worked tirelessly to assist clients on white-collar crime, corruption, sanctions and money-laundering risks in India. The report also notes that Ropes & Gray has vast experience leading on global impact investing transactions across a variety of sectors, including sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, conservation, microfinance, health, education and the provision of basic goods and services.
