Ropes & Gray Recognized in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s Empowering Women Awards

For the second year in a row, Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly has honored Ropes & Gray as a winner in the publication’s Empowering Women awards program.

The Empowering Women award recognizes law firms that have shown a strong commitment to supporting and elevating women attorneys in Massachusetts, and showcase tangible and innovative efforts by law firms to advance women attorneys in the workplace and community.

Ropes & Gray has long been at the forefront of recruiting, retaining, and advancing the careers of women in law. In 2023, the firm was named the most gender diverse partnership among global law firms in the Am Law 200 (as reported by The Financial Times), with women comprising 32.9% of the firm’s single-tier equity partnership, which is above the industry average of 22%. Additionally, Crain’s New York Business recently selected Ropes & Gray as the winner of its “women-forward workplaces” in the large company category.
