Ropes & Gray Represents Partners Group in its Acquisition of Careismatic Brands

Ropes & Gray represented Partners Group in its acquisition of Careismatic Brands (f/k/a Strategic Partners), a leading healthcare apparel company, from New Mountain Capital. The transaction was announced on Jan. 7 and the press release is available here. 

Careismatic designs and manufactures medical apparel, corporate identity apparel, school uniforms and adaptive clothing, and sells them in 70 countries around the world. The company has more than 730 employees with operations in the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia. Partners Group is a global private equity firm with $96 billion in assets under management and more than 1,500 professionals across 20 offices worldwide. 

The Ropes & Gray team that represented Partners Group was led by private equity partner Bob Rivollier and private equity associate Dee Kuchukulla (New York), and included finance partners Andrea Hwang and Alex Zeltser (both of New York), tax partner Adam Greenwood (New York), employment, executive compensation & benefits partners Alexandra Alperovich (New York) and Megan Bisk (Boston), and life science regulatory & compliance partner Kellie Combs (Washington D.C.).
