Three Partners Recognized as Latin America’s Top 100 Lawyers of 2020 by Latinvex

Asset management partner Matt Posthuma and litigation & enforcement partners Colleen Conry and Nick Berg have been named Latin America's Top 100 Lawyers of 2020 by Latinvex, recognizing Matt in the Capital Markets category and Colleen and Nick in the FCPA & Fraud category. In compiling its list of top attorneys, Latinvex evaluated a number of factors, including an attorney’s recent track record handling major matters, the attorney’s prominence in Latin America, and recognition from third parties including Chambers and Legal 500. 

Earlier this year, Latinvex ranked Ropes & Gray among the top international law firms in Latin America, increasing the firm’s overall ranking to 14^th out of more than 100 international law firms in its annual ranking. Ropes & Gray also made strides in subcategories, ranking 4^th for FCPA & Fraud, 6^th for Real Estate and 13^th for Corporate/M&A. Ropes & Gray also received new rankings this year in the Aviation and Tax categories. This significant achievement builds upon recent recognition for the firm’s presence in Latin America including Chambers Latin America-wide: Corporate Crime & Investigations and the Legal 500 Latin America.
