Laura Hoey, co-leader of the firm’s global litigation and enforcement practice group, and asset management and Chicago managing partner Paulita Pike have been named to Crain’s Chicago Business’ 2021 “Notable GenX Leaders in Accounting, Consulting and Law.”
The list, published in Crain’s Chicago Business, recognizes attorneys who are leaders in their practice areas, have effected change in the legal industry, serve as role models to other attorneys, support their communities, and have worked to promote racial justice and equality within their law firms.
Laura is a former federal prosecutor and experienced trial attorney who handles the full spectrum of government-facing matters and internal investigations mainly in the health care and life sciences space.
Paulita Pike, a partner in the firm’s asset management group, is one of the nation’s top advisors on fund issues. Her work involves structuring innovative investment products and navigating all aspects of the regulatory and compliance hurdles associated with bringing products to market.
Both partners are actively involved in Ropes & Gray’s Women’s Forum, passionate about nurturing the professional development and advancement of their female colleagues into senior and leadership positions, and committed to giving back to their community, whether through civic engagement, pro bono work, or efforts to further diversity, equity and inclusion.
