Mez Azizi joined the London antitrust department as an associate in January 2024. Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Mez was an associate in the London office of another leading international law firm. Mez advises on all aspects of EU and UK competition law.

- Advised Cadre Holdings, Inc on a definitive agreement to acquire Carr’s Engineering Limited (excluding Chirton Engineering) and Carr's Engineering (US), Inc. (together the “Engineering Division”), each a subsidiary of Carr’s Group plc, for an enterprise value of £75 million payable in cash at completion.
- Advised AEA Investors’ Middle Market Private Equity team and Battery Ventures on their sale of Process Sensing Technologies to DwyerOmega.
- Represented Bain Capital Life Sciences as it led an over $200 million strategic growth transaction centered on Serán Bioscience, a leading contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) providing development, analytical and manufacturing services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
- Advised National Amusements, Inc. in its pending sale to affiliates of Skydance Media in concert with the merger of Skydance Media with Paramount Global
- Advised Becton Dickinson on its $4.2 billion acquisition of Edwards Lifesciences’ Critical Care business.
- Advised Haveli Investments on its acquisition of ZeroFox Holdings, Inc. in a transaction with an enterprise value of approximately $350 million.
- Advised Cinven on various compliance matters.
