Mikayla Fanto joined Ropes & Gray's New York office in 2024 and works in the business restructuring group.
Prior to joining the firm, Mikayla graduated magna cum laude from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and graduated cum laude from University of New Haven, where she earned her bachelor's degree in criminal justice and psychology. Mikayla spent her first summer of law school interning for the Honorable Judge Joanna Seybert in the Eastern District of New York. Mikayla served as senior articles editor on the Hofstra Law Review and as the director of technology for the Hofstra Law Moot Court Board. Mikayla was also a legal ethics teaching assistant and a civil procedure research assistant.
