Jack Heald is an associate in Ropes & Gray’s finance group, based in Boston. Jack focuses his practice on advising private equity sponsors, portfolio companies and public companies in a broad range of financing transactions, including acquisition financings, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and asset-based credit facilities.

Jack joined Ropes & Gray in 2019. During law school, Jack worked in the legal department of Agero, Inc. and as a student attorney in the Boston University Employment Rights Clinic. Jack was also a member of Boston University’s Review of Banking and Financial Law.

Experience

  • Represented TPG Capital in connection with the debt financing for its acquisition of Miratech Corp., a leader in aftermarket emissions and noise reduction technology for stationary industrial engines.
  • Represented TPG Capital in connection with the debt financing for its acquisition of G&A Partners, a leading human resources and technology services platform.
  • Advised Audax Group in connection with obtaining debt financing for multiple acquisitions and subsequent add-on financings, including an outsourced transportation services company.
  • Advised Charlesbank Capital Partners in connection with the refinancing of the first and second lien credit facilities of its portfolio company Park Place Technologies, a leading global third-party maintenance provider.
