An associate in the firm’s alternative asset opportunities practice, Yusheng routinely represents some of the world’s largest institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, endowments and asset managers, as they deploy capital around the world and across asset classes. In addition to his corporate work, Yusheng also maintains an active pro bono practice, including representing clients in asylum proceedings, assisting lawful permanent residents applying for citizenship, and researching the laws and regulations that impact LGBT+ people in certain Asian jurisdictions.
Native in Chinese, Yusheng has spent a year on internal secondment in the firm’s Hong Kong office. Prior to joining the firm, he trained at another leading international law firm, where he completed rotations in the private funds, corporate, and capital markets practice groups.
