Elizabeth Johnson is an associate in the firm’s private capital transactions group. She represents private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in connection with a broad range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and equity investments matters.

Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Elizabeth was a finance associate at another large international law firm, where she represented lenders in a variety of private credit transactions.

During law school, Elizabeth served as a student attorney for the Boston College Community Enterprise Clinic and as a senior editor of the Boston College Law Review

Experience

  • Represented Tecomet, Inc., together with certain of its affiliates, in the refinancing of its approximately $1 billion capital structure, including through the provision of a new revolving credit facility and privately placed first-lien term loan. Tecomet is a global leader in the design, development, and manufacture of orthopedic, robotic assisted, and minimally invasive surgical products, as well as precision components for the aerospace and defense industry.
