Alyxandra Klotz is an associate in Ropes & Gray’s litigation and enforcement practice group. Alyxandra provides guidance to clients on a range of antitrust and competition matters, including compliance program counseling, premerger clearance, and antitrust investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, and state antitrust authorities. She also participates in the firm’s pro bono practice, assisting asylum seekers in obtaining permanent legal residence in the United States.
During law school, Alyxandra was an intern at the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice in the Washington Criminal II Section. She also served on the Executive Committee of George Washington’s Moot Court Board and was an associate for the George Washington Law Review. Prior to law school, Alyxandra worked as a paralegal at a boutique securities litigation law firm.

- Represented a large health system in successful merger advocacy before the Federal Trade Commission and state antitrust regulators, securing clearance without Second Request.
- Advised Provention Bio on the antitrust aspects of its $2.9 billion sale to Sanofi.
- Part of the team that represented Signify Health in its sale to CVS Health in an $8 billion transaction. The transaction closed following antitrust review and investigation by the Department of Justice, including a Second Request.
